Can I run pump gas in my TM motorcycle?
For best performance and longevity, TM recommends running fuel with a minimum 94-96 octane rating in your machine. Unfortunately, most Premium-grade pump gas has an octane rating of 89-93, depending on location. We have found the most cost-effective way to achieve the desired octane is to mix a higher octane fuel (such as race gas) with pump gas.
What is the recommended fuel:oil mixture for TM two-strokes?
TM recommends 3%-3.5% (28:1-33:1), depending on model. We have found the traditional 32:1 premix ratio to be the best all-around mixture for most TM two-stroke models.
